Terms and Conditions

All of us at BakerBag want you to get years and years of use from your new BakerBag.

  • Our customers know exactly how they want to use BakerBag and understand that the life of the bag depends on how it's used and it's care.
  • BakerBag is not intended for use with liquids. The Heavy-Duty Bakerbag's full 140 US gallon/0.53 cubic meter volume would exceed a standard baker scaffold's weight rating of 1000 lb/453.6 kg. We recommend keeping the weight under 500 lb/226.8 kg, about half a typical baker scaffold's maximum weight rating.
  • BakerBag Light-Duty models are limited to 300 lb for full size and 100 lb for Mini and Side-Tote models. No BakerBag is rated for liquids.
  • BakerBag is not intended to carry persons or pets.
  • Our Heavy Duty model is not designed to be installed with the scaffolding platform. It needs to be removed when installing the platform.
  • Our Light Duty BakerBag allows the unit to be installed along with the platform, however all other terms and conditions apply. Do not travel underneath a BakerBag!!
  • Our recommendation is that BakerBag be installed as low as possible to avoid creating a tipping hazard or allowing persons to be underneath any loads.
  • Avoid punctures and sharpened edge materials when possible. While the 18 ounce PVC is strong, it is susceptible to slicing with a sharpened edge. Many customers add a piece of plywood into the bag to protect the bottom of the bag and extend the life of their BakerBags.
  • BakerBag is sold for use within an existing baker scaffold, yet BakerBag makes no claim regarding the manufacturer's recommended uses for their product. Used properly, BakerBag should not damage a baker scaffold aside from general wear from use. BakerBag accepts no liability for damages to any component of the scaffolding.
  • Over time, general wear and tear is expected. We trust our customers will extend the life of their own BakerBag in many innovative  ways, from tarp repair tapes, patches, clips, clamps, rivets, and more! Share your stories and ideas with us and we will share your success with all our customers!
